We will meet again!
The BRIDGE for CITIES conference has become one of my favourite conferences and took place online in 2020. Government authorities from all over the world are presenting their contributions, best practices and challenges in regard of the AGENDA 2030. The aims of the agenda are:
The idea is to decentralise and empower cities to deal with their own challenges and to connect them with twin cities with similar demands rather than neighbour cities and national capital cities with sometimes no relevance and nothing in common. I love this approach.
In 2020 the UN called for the DECADE OF ACTION and every fu%!ing person needs to participate in this. The ‘lazy person’s guide to saving the world’ is the minimum amount of contribution we demand from everybody, that’s level 1 and you can play this into infinite.
After that, we will meet again.
So, our next adventure may take a while and travel won’t be the same. But, make the wait worthwhile, so you can tell us about your greatest accomplishments on the road.
